BOOK REVIEW
The Mini Adventures of Danny and the Deployer by Juanda Bryant
This story follows Danny, a young boy who finds out that Dad is being deployed and may be gone for a while. Danny feels sad to know this, and then his Dad gives him a special toy soldier, a Deployer cheers him up.
His Dad told him about the military’s working and their different time zones and a lot more. Join Danny on his adventures journey to learn what his Dad does in the military.
Young students need to understand what a military man does and how they protect and serve their country. Deployment is heartbreaking for military families, and especially for those with children. Children miss their parents and are also worried about their parent’s safety.
So this book is a way to help your child cope with the stress when their parent is away on a mission. The illustrations are beautiful and help children to understand what their parents actually do for the country. It is such a proud feeling for children to learn the meaning of serving a nation, and I’m sure it will inspire them to join the Army.
The story teaches about love, diversity, teamwork, and dealing with difficult times.
