Q: How and when your journey started as a writer?
I wrote my first book to inspire my son then 12 to read more. My second book was inspired by a walk I took with my 2 year old daughter.
Q: When did you write your first story? Is it published or not?
I wrote my first book about 7 yrs ago. It has been published. The Hip Hop Chessmaster. I’ve been a hip hop artist and writer for over 30 years now.
Q: Tell us something more about your books?
My first book The Hip Hop Chessmaster is a story about a middle school age boy who is faced with a dilemma. Choose between Hip Hop or Chess. Or choose both? The second book is I Know I Can a book about empowering girls inspired by my 2 year old daughter.
Q: Why do you choose kids as your reader ? is there any specific reason?
My children are my inspiration
Q: How did these stories and characters come to your mind?
My children are the main characters in both stories
Q: Do you want to give any message for your readers?
Both of my books are about empowering children to be the best they can be!!!
