Book Review
Stubs, the Stubborn Christmas tree Volume 1 By Joy Mitchell
I just love the concept of this book that is inspired by the real experience of the author when they bought a stubborn Christmas tree that absolutely did not want to come into the house or refuse to be just an ‘ornament’ for Christmas.
This story is about Stubs, a stubborn Christmas tree who wanted to be in the real soil and grow like a tall tree. When Sadie, Tim, and Tom bring him into their house, he is horrified and plays all sorts of tricks on them until he realizes they are able to talk to him.
Stubs become part of their family and the best friend they can ever imagine. Together they have many funny, heart-warming, out-of-this-world, and heavenly adventures.
This book is divided into three magical Christmas stories- Stubs Meets His Family, Stubs Saves Christmas, Stubs Gets Lost in New York.
All stories are really amazing and interesting and I’m sure children will love to read this book again and again. Together they have many funny, heart-warming, out-of-this-world, and heavenly adventures.
This book is full of magical characters, their adventure, and teaches children to be kind towards trees.
The Illustrations are so amazing and vibrant, and it looks like we are directly landed into the beautiful world of Christmas trees. This is the first book in this series and I’m looking forward to reading more adventure stories of Stubs with his family.
Perfect for 3+
