A small-town girl from Dadeville, Alabama, Negrita Smart is a wife, sister, believer, and teacher at heart. Q: How and when did your journey start as a writer?
I began writing in 2020. I started writing a personal memoir which I will finish at a later time. It was more necessary for me to write a book for children that will help teach them life lessons.

I published my first book in February 2023. My second book will be released February 2024.
