Sandy the Service Dog: Honeymoon Disaster by Michelle M Deyarmin
Honeymoon Disaster is the second book from The Adventures of Sandy the Service Dog Series, a delightful story of pet love and friendship that gives children a beautiful message of staying imaginative and strong during difficult times.
As you read in Book 1, how Max the dog helped Sandy find her way back to her family, and now they live with Shelby and Luke.
Sandy and Max are excited about Kelly and Nick’s wedding and vacation to Hawaii with the whole family. But when they realize they were accidentally on the wrong plane to Alaska instead of Hawaii, they devise a plan to get back to their family.
Follow Sandy and Max on their adventurous journey to Alaska and how they make it back to their family in Hawaii with the help of new friends, a family of Polar bears, penguins, and huskies whom they meet along the way.
I want to admire Michelle for writing such a fun and inspirational series of books for children that encourages them to love and appreciate each other as everyone is unique, to be kind, and tell them that we should never judge someone just because of how they look.
This story teaches children to deal with difficult situations and how we can work together in unity, harmony, and friendship for a common goal.
