Q: First tell us something about yourself?
Nicole D. Little Bradley is a strategic and passionate communications leader. Nicole’s journey is one filled with many great opportunities in the media and communications industry.
Currently, as an Account Manager at Premion, TEGNA’s OTT advertising service, she is responsible for the management of sales and relationships with clients. She helps to maintain the company’s existing sales relationships with a client or group of clients, so that they will continue using the company for business all while providing first-class client service.
Nicole has a great understanding and knowledge of communication practices, tools, and techniques. Nicole coins herself as a student of all thing’s communications and media.
Nicole D. Little Bradley is making her mark as a writer and is on a mission to spread literature to all children everywhere. Writing has always been a passion and a hobby for her. She believes that writing is one of the greatest forms of self-expression. Nicole self-published her first book in 2008; a book of poems entitled Heartfelt: A Collection of Poems. The Adventures of Maddie & Mack: The Big Sister Blues was her first children’s book published in 2019. The Adventures of Maddie & Mack: Maddie The Boss is her second book from this book series.
Nicole is a graduate of Hampton University, where she majored in Broadcast Journalism and minored in Marketing. After graduating from Hampton University, she was selected to enroll in a Media Sales Institute at Howard University. The Institute was sponsored by the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation. She has worked in the Media Industry for over 12 years at various television networks, including: CNN BET and Katz.
She is currently enrolled in the NYU School of Professional Studies: Storytelling: Narrative Tools and Applications Graduate Certificate program. Courses at NYU includes but are not limited to: Fundamentals of Storytelling, Multimedia Storytelling, Feature Writing for Print and Digital Media to name a few. Nicole currently resides in New Jersey with her husband and children.
Q: How and when did your journey start as a writer?
Writing has always been a hobby for me. I can remember my 9th grade English teacher telling me that my writing was so good that she submitted my English report to the school newspaper. From there that truly sparked my interest and confidence in writing. I went on to write for my college newspaper as well. Through the years I have also written for up and coming blogs etc.
Q: When did you write your first story? Is it published or not?
I self-published my first book in 2008; a book of poems entitled Heartfelt: A Collection of Poems. The Adventures of Maddie & Mack: The Big Sister Blues was my first children’s book published in 2019. The Adventures of Maddie & Mack: Maddie the Boss is my second book from this children’s book series and has just been published this September 2021.

Designed to boost self-confidence and educate children of all ages on the importance of healthy relationships. This book series will follow a young girl and her very energetic little sister throughout their sisterhood journey! The message about cultivating healthy relationships and self-confidence is a universal one that can be enjoyed and appreciated by children of all races.
About the Book The Adventures of Maddie & Mack: Maddie the Boss
Maddie learns what it means to guide and manage her leadership skills as she creates her first business idea. Her enthusiasm and excitement quickly turn to frustration when her little sister Mack gets in her way. Will there be room for two bosses? Read as the two sisters work through their challenges.
Q: Why do you choose kids as your reader? is there any specific reason?
I am on a mission to spread literature to all children everywhere. Reading is the foundation to learning. Writing has always been a passion and a hobby for me. I believe that writing is one of the greatest forms of self-expression.
Q: How did these stories and characters come to your mind?
My children’s books are based on my two precious daughters Madison and Mackenzie.
I had a dream a few years ago to start a children’s book series based on my girl’s sibling relationship.
My oldest daughter Madison was 7 years old when Mackenzie was born. During that time, I was a nervous mom worrying about how the girls would interact with each other being so many years apart. To my surprise, their bond was strong from the start. They have a great sister relationship and I wanted to start The Adventures of Maddie & Mack book series to highlight healthy sibling relationships.
