Q: First tell us something about yourself ?
I love to dance and make others laugh I am known as Nevaeh The Kid Author. I am Self Published at the age of 10 I am most proud of getting Straight A’s and also being selected to be tested for TAG (Talented and Gifted) and also making my Mom Proud.
Q: How and when your journey started as a writer?
It started three years ago when I would be picked on from how I look to my hair. My mom told me to ignore them but they didn’t stop. I couldn’t take it anymore so I wanted to end my life. I attempted to at school and was then hospitalized for two weeks. I see what it was doing to my mom the hurt she was feeling and I never wanted to hurt my mom or myself. So my mom told me while in the hospital to write in a journal when people did things to you so I did. I then ask my mom could I write a book of my life like she did and she stated of course, baby, first let’s get you better first, your health is more important. I quickly did and I started my journey of reclaiming and taking my life back. No bully formed against me shall prosper. My mom helped me the most with putting my ideas together and three years later, I am Self Published Author just like my mom. We both have beaten the odds and write a book about it.
Q: When did you write your first story? Is it published or not?
It was Published This Summer.
Q: Tell us something more about your books?
My book is to encourage the next kid who feel helpless against A bully.
Q: Why do you choose kids as your reader ? is there any specific reason?
Mainly because it happen to me and I am a Kid. I feel the readers will understand better from someone who actually was in the same shoes as other kids face these challenges daily.I want them to know I was them too.
Q: How did these stories and characters come to your mind?
I wanted to describe them in a setting like I experience .
Q: Do you want to give any message for your readers?
I was Bullied and Became A Boss You can Beat A Bully by Becoming Successfully in life. No Bully Formed Against Shall Prosper.
