Q: First tell us something about yourself.
My name is Sheila Galle Espejo, and I’m an author who’s super passionate about storytelling, especially for kids and teens. I love weaving together fun, imagination, and deeper life lessons in my books to inspire young minds. Spirituality and energy play a huge part in how I create my characters and stories. I really believe the world would be so much brighter if we could teach our little ones about the power of positivity, gratitude, and the magic of manifestation early on.
Q: How and when did your journey start as a writer?
My official writing journey kicked off in 2021 when I published LoA Supergirl, a book that teaches preteens and teens all about the Law of Attraction and Manifestation. But honestly, I’ve been writing ever since I could pick up a pen! I wrote my first novel attempt at 11 years old and actually finished one when I was 25—As de Copas, which I self-published. Writing became more serious for me once I felt the call to share ideas about manifestation, abundance, and positivity in fun, engaging ways. Since then, I’ve been diving into children’s literature with my Little Loa series, which is a prequel to LoA Supergirl.
Q: When did you write your first story? Is it published or not?
My first published story is LoA Supergirl, which I wrote in 2021. It’s available and ready for readers! The story follows a girl named Loa who teaches her friend Noah about the Law of Attraction. It’s a mix of adventure and spirituality, aimed at preteens and teens, but fun for anyone curious about how manifestation works.
Q: Tell us something more about your books.
Right now, I’m focused on my Little Loa series, which is for kids aged 8 to 10. Each book explores a different “superpower” like gratitude, courage, and calmness. For example, in Little Loa’s Superpower is Gratitude, Loa learns the magic of being thankful. And in Little Loa’s Superpower is Calmness, she discovers how staying calm can help her face challenges. These stories are fun and relatable, but they also carry messages that go beyond childhood. I love including interactive elements, like cut-out dolls and activities, to keep kids engaged!
I’ve also published two books on manifestation for adults—a coloring book that’s a mix of self-help and creativity, and The Mega Attractor Oracle, which has 100 manifestation messages to inspire you daily.
Q: How did these stories and characters come to your mind?
My ideas come from a mix of everyday life and my passion for helping others grow emotionally and spiritually. The Little Loa series was born from wanting to introduce kids to positive values and mindset tools. Characters like Ava, Sam, and Loa all represent community, friendship, and personal growth. And since my own spiritual journey and connection to energy are a big part of who I am, those elements naturally find their way into my stories too. My hope is that readers feel uplifted and empowered after reading them.
Q: Do you want to leave any message for your readers?
Absolutely! I want everyone to know that we all have amazing superpowers inside us—whether it’s gratitude, courage, calmness, or helping others. I hope my books inspire you to tap into those qualities in your own life, no matter how big or small the challenge seems. You are capable of incredible things, and sometimes all it takes is a calm mind and a positive attitude to let the magic unfold. Plus, I believe that if we teach kids these powerful lessons now, we can create a ripple effect, making the world a kinder, more empowered place for the future.
