Books help children connect to the world and help them understand the world around them. Books also help children understand different perspectives while also learning about different people, cultures, and countries.
Children learn so much from books, so they need to see characters that look like and talk like them, but they may question their identity when they do not see themselves in these books. That’s why I always believe that representation matters in children’s books, and at Kidliomag, we always try to incorporate books and activities that promote love, peace, diversity, and inclusion.
