Caleb Has Something To Say By Chanita Stone
This is a loving story about a little boy Caleb who has a disorder called cerebral palsy. He does not use words to speak, but he has a lot to say, he has his way to communicate, and his mom understands every emotion and feeling of him very well. I love the bond between Caleb and his family, how his sister is always there for him to help.
This book beautifully portrays the mindset of children who have special needs and helps parents and their friends to understand the challenges they go through.
I want to salute all the parents who are doing their job amazingly and let their children be allowed to dream big and smile with their full heart. This beautifully illustrated picture book also teaches children about being kind, respecting each other, and most importantly encourages them to understand the language of love.
This book is an emotional and heartfelt read for me. Hope this book helps parents of children with special needs.
