Q: First tell us something about yourself.
I’m a mother of three, an engineer by training, a product leader by profession, and a passionate storyteller who loves weaving faith, family, and adventure into everything I write. I live in Colorado with my husband and kids and find inspiration in everyday moments, childhood wonder, and the hope we have in God.
Q: How and when did your journey start as a writer?
I started writing as a way to teach my children deep biblical truths in a fun, relatable way. What began as bedtime stories soon turned into fully illustrated chapter books! I realized there was a gap in the market for multicultural, faith-based adventure stories—and I felt called to fill it.
Q: When did you write your first story? Is it published or not?
My first story was The Secret Cave and the Light of the World, and yes, it’s published! It’s the first book in the Hope, Light & Wonder series. You can find me on Amazon
Q: Tell us something more about your books.
My books follow three siblings—Hiro, Lani, and Wazi—on fun, heartfelt adventures that explore Christian values like courage, kindness, trust, and worship. Each chapter book is filled with relatable moments, diverse characters, and a memory verse that ties it all together.
Q: How did these stories and characters come to your mind?
The characters are inspired by my own kids! Their personalities, and questions about life and faith sparked many of the stories. I wanted to capture their curiosity and turn it into something that would bless other families as well.
Q: Do you want to leave any message for your readers?
You are created on purpose, with purpose, and for a purpose. Don’t be afraid to be different, kind, or bold. God made you just the way you are—and that’s a beautiful thing.
