I’m a Houston based author and writer! I love to support kids through interactive and engaging stories! I’ve written and published three books for children, and I’m also the founder and Executive Director of a nonprofit organization called Mason Makes Money Fund. We support kid entrepreneurs with education and financial resources.
“No-No Square” does this by using three common examples in a child-friendly way that is easy to understand. This will aid children to recognize when it’s important to say no if strangers, other children, and family members who try to touch them inappropriately.
This book serves as a conversation starter for young children to discuss with their parents about bad touch by illustrating predators as monsters. With this book, children will learn what body boundaries are, how to sense danger when people want to touch them, know that no one should touch them inappropriately, and tell an adult.
Our 3rd Anniversary and Biggest-Ever Issue is a Heartfelt Tribute to the Readers!
On a personal level, putting together this anniversary edition was exciting, but also challenging for me as I always felt like I grew up with this magazine and with you all, reading your books, interviews, and articles. It is always challenging for me to create content, that our readers are proud of!
I always feel the responsibility of creating content that anyone can read irrespective of their age. This feeling multiplied times when we have the pressure to put together our 3rd-anniversary magazine. Assembling these pages was also an exercise of self-discovery and reevaluation.
I would like to thank all our authors and our contributors for always promoting the magazine. Lastly, and most importantly, thank you to our readers, who have been with us for the last three years.

When Queen attends a new school, she is scared but also determined. She was taught from a young age about the power of positivity and of understanding other people, even in the face of a bully. So, she begins teaching her classmates about these wonderful lessons, and as she does, something incredible happens!
While pregnant with my first child, I wrote my first children’s book because I wanted to publish an inspiring S.T.E.M. careers book for girls that encourages them to explore these types of careers and follow their dreams. I enjoy reading my book to my four-month-old daughter, Shaina, and hope she loves it when she is older. Knowledge is power, so developing that passion of being a lifelong learner starts when a child is exposed to books at an early age as it opens their eyes to all of life’s possibilities while their interests are being shaped.
My life has been an extraordinary adventure. I am blessed to have a wonderful family and friends who have loved and supported me through the various stages of my life. My faith and my family have been my foundation, and I am grateful for them. I have been a published author and public speaker for over fifteen years, writing books for adults and children. Through several of my organizations, I have worked with schools, community groups, churches, corporations and other organizations promoting character education, literacy, leadership development and education. People are my passion and helping them fulfill their god-given purpose is my mission.
Hello, My name is Joseph P.Camel Jr. I am from California and moved to Las Vegas for college. I am an advocate for Animal Rights and Human Rights. I also am involved in our local politics as well.
Writing is my passion. Besides children’s literature, I write songs as well. I am from Nashville, Tennessee but moved back to my roots. I now live in Texas.
For 15 years I was an elementary music teacher, at a school in Southern California, and for the last 6 of those years I was also a Jr. High theater and culinary arts teacher, in addition to teaching elementary music. My husband decided to retire and wanted to travel the world, so we sold our house and most of our furniture and packed up the rest. We drove across the US in August 2022 and in September took off for Morocco. Since then, we’ve slept in 70 different beds and visited 11 different countries. We’ve stayed in a geodome, a cave, and even a castle! As I’m writing this, I’m in Oslo, Norway, headed off to Spain tomorrow!
Having grown up with parents and grandparents who were teachers, deputy heads and head teachers I grew up surrounded by books and developed an interest in writing early on, which was further inspired by an author who visited my primary school in Haringey. I graduated from Leeds University having studied Film and Moving Image. During this time, I pitched ideas for scripts that were selected by the university to be made into shorts. This was the turning point when I decided that he needed to reignite my passion for becoming an author and pursue a career in writing. After many ideas and several trips to the coffee shop later, Luke’s First Adventure was formed.
