Sandy is a service dog for a 10 year old girl named Shelby with epilepsy. The family lives in Florida where a hurricane is about to hit. Shelby’s mom, younger brother, Shelby, and Sandy all have to evacuate the house when the hurricane hits. Sandy makes a decision to jump in the water to save Shelby’s brother after he falls off the boat. After getting him safely back to the boat Sandy is then carried away with the water. Sandy runs into many animals on her adventure back home including Ricky the Raccoon, Max a street dog, a skunk, and a filthy mean alligator named Albert. Max helps Sandy get home.
