I’ve always loved reading and writing – I hardly leave the house without a book! I live on the North Shore of Massachusetts, which means there are a lot of beautiful places where I can read and write. I grew up in Connecticut but made the move to Massachusetts after studying English in college.

I spent most of my life working with my students, children, and now, with my grandkids. In 1999, I received the “Educator of Excellence” award by the New York English Council.

Yay! Summer is here! It is the most fun season for kids because we can spend all day having fun visiting places like beaches, Water parks, and zoos. There are many good things about summer, and my favorite is to eat lots of mangoes, the king of fruits.
Although Summer is a fun season for kids but it’s difficult for birds or other animals, so keep some water and food for birds or animals outside your house and make this summer easier for birds or stray animals.

Audrey Day: I have always loved art. Growing up I filled every spare inch of my homework with doodles. Making art for a living has been a dream of mine forever.

I am a wife and a mother of five, I have four small dogs and a rabbit which I absolutely adore, and I am a qualified Montessori teacher with over twenty-five years of experience with special needs.

I began my career caring for animals as a Veterinary Technician, then as an Animal Control Officer. Eventually, after having my sons, I decided to work from home as an Accounting Associate, which enabled me to start writing.

Leslie: I’m a Baltimore native who is passionate about advocating for equity in education.

I am a nurse turned stay at home mom and homeschool teacher, due to the pandemic. I live in Southeast Texas with my husband and two sons; but I am originally from Louisiana.

I am a retired school guidance counselor, with decades of experience working with all aged children. This book is geared towards pre-school and early childhood education.
