Hi, I’m Alexandrina Andre, and I wear a few creative hats—I’m a director, writer, and actress living in sunny Los Angeles. I began my storytelling journey by making short films in college, and my passion for storytelling led me to the film industry. Just last year, I proudly released my very first full-length documentary, which even won me a special award called the Telly Award for best online directing. And now, I’ve added ‘children’s book author’ to my list of talents! I’ve written a cool book called ‘The Pranky Monkey,’ and I’m super excited to share it with all of you!

A: I am a mother of two boys, an Accounting Associate and a writer. I started out as a Veterinary Technician, then, worked as an Animal Control Officer, which was very rewarding. Aside from writing, animals are my passion. Eventually, I started writing articles for animal magazines and moved on to writing science fiction stories for kids. I have 3 published books – Cloud Monsters, Cloud Monsters: Return of The Vultans and of course The Lonely Chameleon. I love writing for kids and seeing them enjoy reading my books.
My name is Cherise Arthur and I live in Beaverton, Oregon. My journey started in grade school as an avid reader. I grew up in the country with rabbits, horses, ponies, a pet raccoon, chickens, etc. I started riding horses again about 10 years ago and one day when I was riding I had an idea for a book. I wrote the story and then joined a local writing community. I finally got the confidence to learn about publishing and what it would look like to actually have a book published. I went the traditional route and was getting impatient with not betting anywhere. That is when I started learning about self publishing
I am someone who is lucky to wear many hats. I am a wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and part of a very big extended family. I am a retired lawyer, I have had a baking business, and then, as a stay-at-home, mom, I definitely had a lot of jobs as the Co-CEO of our family! And now, I am happy to say that I am a published author
I am a life-long visual artist who uses art making as a form of therapy and communication. In addition to illustrating many children’s books, I run my own design firm that I (kind of) fell into when I lived in Philadelphia for a decade. I now live in Ecuador with my husband and daughter and have an ever-growing adult fantasy and children’s book library.
My name is Martine Vanderheyden-Lundahl. I was born in Belgium, in Wallonia, the French-speaking part. My father is Belgian, and my mother is Rwandan. I am super proud of them both.
Hi, I live in London with my hubby and 2 boys. My background is in science, but I have always enjoyed writing. Those who know me well know my need for detail and how I seek people who know how to tell a good story! This is my first book, my passion project, so this world is very new to me.
Dear Readers,
How much screen time is too much screen time?
Screen time isn’t always unhealthy, but we need to monitor what content children engage with and what is best for their learning and overall mental and physical development. There are also ways that parents can moderate and manage their child’s screen time to help ensure that kids have a healthy relationship with their screens according to their age.
It is always challenging for me to create content that is fun and educational at the same time. This feeling multiplies when we have the pressure to put together the best quality content that our readers are proud of!
This month, we have Independence Day of India on the 15th of August, so we included facts about Chandrayaan 3, a story of patriotism and activities that promote love, peace, diversity, and inclusion.
Please share your feedback at kidliomag@gmail.com.
Happy Independence Day!
