Hurray! October is here, The month full of festivals! As this festival season brings a lot of festivities to celebrate around the world.
Asleep at last is a charming bedtime story that takes children into the beautiful world of adorable animal characters and helps parents put them in their beds.
I work as a Registered Nurse at New York University Health Care (NYUHC) and I created Celebrating Women LLC, a global platform amplifying women’s voices and visibility; hosting events, speaking internationally, writing, editing, and publishing a unifying collection of interviews about women. I also volunteer on an international disaster assistance response team, meeting critical needs of victims of war, poverty, famine, disease and natural disaster. I live on Long Island in New York with my husband, Greg. I’m a mom and a nana!
I’m a children’s book author and illustrator. I’m also a Mass Bit Manipulator, Herder of Helpless People, and Part-time Czar. My hobbies are Unicorn Wrangling, Ghost Hunting, and Collecting In-Flight Sick Bags. Oh and I also dabble in Witchcraft.
I am a Speech-Language Pathologist by trade and I have recently tried my hand at writing a children’s book teaching adjectives. I am also a mother and have always enjoyed helping children learn and develop.
I’m a 21-year-old,writer, musician, activist, and author of a children’s book series that I started at 16.
I grew up in India, moved to New York in 2005, and spent fourteen years in the financial services industry, before living my childhood dream of being an author. I write empowering books that promote social and emotional development in children.
Self-esteem, which means feeling good about yourself and embracing yourself. With self-esteem, you believe in yourself, you know that you can do anything if you put your mind to it, and even when things don’t go your way, it helps you accept your mistakes. So friends always look for new things, what you can do, try a new sport, dance or any activity which you like, at least give it a try and most importantly “Be happy, proud and be yourself.”
In this edition, we incorporated books and activities that promote Self-love & self-esteem.
I hope you all will like this edition, and please share your feedback at kidliomag@gmail.com.
I love reading and writing. I started writing in elementary school and it’s always been a deep love of mine.
