Wow, such a lovely concept to teach children about self-love, confidence, self-esteem, and acceptance. This book is an incredible read with a strong message for kids and as well as for adults.

This book is a very cute and sweet story of a young boy Owen, who recently moved to a new state. He is very excited about that first time he rides a bus to his new school and nervous too because he doesn’t know anyone there.
I am a mother of two boys, an 18 year old & a 3 year old. We live in North Attleboro, MA.
As a new mother, reading books to my son that showcase minority characters in roles of leadership as well as embrace diversity is important to me. As a result, I decided to create the Aris Brown book series. I am committed to creating stories that communicate powerful life principles that help support the values we instill in our children every day.

I am a wife, mother, educator, and now new author. I have been
teaching for fifteen years. Writing children’s books have always been a
dream of mine. Working with children for years and having two
children of my own provided the insight that I used to help write my books.
My family and I have lived in several different states over the years. I’ve lived on the east coast, in the south, and currently reside in St. Louis, MO. with my husband and two daughters. Originally from Springfield, Ohio, I am happy to be back in the mid-west. Volunteerism is a passion of mine and over the years I’ve worked with several amazing organizations like the YWCA, Girl Scouts, Junior League, and Jack and Jill of America just to name a few.
A Perfect Bedtime story that I read after ages. This book is just an amazing read for children that encourages them to go to bed early.
