Aloha, I’m Peggy Kan Hai—a Psychotherapist, Author, Mother, and lifelong storyteller.
My name is Kylie Kincaid. I am a primary school teacher, mum of two boys, and the author behind Kincaid Books. My stories are inspired by real life experiences in my classroom, with my boys, and the everyday moments kids experience. I love creating books that help children grow into kind and confident little people. Some books have a little humour woven in, seen through a child’s eyes, but something adults can smile at too.
Dear Readers,
This May is a very special milestone for us at Kidlio-mag-we are celebrating six wonderful years of sharing stories, ideas, and creativity with children and families across the globe. What began as a small initiative to inspire young minds has now grown into a vibrant community, and this journey would not have been possible without your immense love and support.
Every message, every word of encouragement, and every reader who has joined us along the way has fueled our passion to keep creating meaningful content for kids. Your trust and enthusiasm have been the heartbeat of Kidliomag, and we are deeply grateful for it.
As we step into our seventh year, we promise to continue bringing you inspiring stories, thoughtful articles, and creative features that spark imagina-tion and nurture young readers. Together, let’s keep celebrating the joy of reading and storytell-ing.
Thank you for being part of our journey. Here’s to many more years of learning, laughter, and creativi-ty with Kidliomag!
With gratitude and joy,
I am a children’s book author passionate about storytelling, creativity, and literacy. Before writing for children, I co-founded and led an international creative agency, where I helped global brands tell meaningful stories. After selling my company, I returned to what first inspired me as a child, storytelling. I studied children’s literature at the University of Chicago Graham School and began writing picture books inspired by my two sons. Today, I create stories that nurture imagination, encourage kindness, and spark connection between children and the adults in their lives.

Dear KidlioMag Readers,
February is a month filled with love, learning, and celebration. As we turn the pages of this edition, we invite you to embrace the spirit of Valentine’s Day—a time to share kindness, friendship, and joy with the people who make our lives brighter. Love isn’t just about hearts and chocolates; it’s about caring for one another, showing empathy, and spreading positivity in our homes, schools, and communities.
This month also holds a very special place in history: Black History Month. It’s a time to honor the incredible contributions, courage, and creativity of Black leaders, artists, scientists, and everyday heroes who have shaped the world we live in. Their stories remind us of the power of resilience, the importance of equality, and the beauty of diversity.
In this issue, you’ll find heartwarming Valentine’s crafts, stories of friendship, and inspiring features that highlight voices from Black history. We hope these pages encourage you to celebrate love in all its forms and to learn from the past as we build a kinder, brighter future together.
Let’s make February a month of love, respect, and inspiration.
Happy Valentine’s Day
