Hi, we are a mother and daughter duo. Claire is in 7th grade, loves softball and hanging out with her friends and family.

From a young age, I have been drawn to art and all things color. I’m always on the lookout for new creative projects to attempt. One day, you might find me refurbishing a vintage piece of furniture, while the next, I’m hand painting wallpaper on my living room wall. It’s these creative projects, including my book, that bring me so much joy.

As a children’s author, mother, and educator, I am passionate about helping children deal with their emotions through storytelling. Comfort Cases’ cause is close to my heart, and I wanted to support them. This activity book, created in partnership with them, will be placed in younger children’s backpacks, with all proceeds going to Comfort Cases to provide comfort and support to children in need.

Mr. Walker was furious to see a house in the neighborhood with Christmas decorations already set up before Thanksgiving. The house belonged to Toni Brooks, who recently moved into the neighborhood. He asked her to take down the Christmas decorations, but Toni refused. Mr. Walker was determined to do anything in his power to take down her decorations.

I am Jean L. Tanelus, born in Miami, Florida in 1998. I am of Haitian and Bahamian descent. I graduated in 2021 with my Bachelor in Business Administration at Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU), the #1 Public HBCU (Historically Black Colleges/Universities). I am a private person, I don’t share much about myself with others, even those close to me. It was getting hard to contain my vision and voice inside of me for any longer and writing has given me the space to express myself through stories for others to enjoy.
