I’m a Haitian-American writer, a lover of nature, and an adventurer. I’ve spent many years learning about the land around me and exploring its healing capabilities. This discovery was so profound that I began leading hikes for local explorers and decided to distill some of nature’s teachings through my first-ever children’s book.

I am a bilingual writer, writing across several genres, in Irish and English, and this year I was awarded “The Children’s Books Ireland Award”. Some of my books, including haiku books for children 8-12, are free on the FreeKidsBooks platform:

Hello, my name is Shelbi. I am very passionate about raising awareness and understanding of invisible disabilities – as I am an adult with Dyslexia and Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). I am a RADLD Ambassador. Dyslexia is a learning difficulty that primarily affects the skills involved in accurate and fluent word reading and spelling. Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) is a significant difficulty learning, understanding and using spoken language – 1 in 14.

A: I am a mother of two boys, an Accounting Associate and a writer. I started out as a Veterinary Technician, then, worked as an Animal Control Officer, which was very rewarding. Aside from writing, animals are my passion. Eventually, I started writing articles for animal magazines and moved on to writing science fiction stories for kids. I have 3 published books – Cloud Monsters, Cloud Monsters: Return of The Vultans and of course The Lonely Chameleon. I love writing for kids and seeing them enjoy reading my books.

My name is Eldonie Mason and I immigrated to the United States from Antigua in 1998. I later graduated magna cum laude from New Jersey City University in 2002 and cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 2005. In 2007, I founded Mason Firm LLC, an entertainment, business and fashion law firm based in Newark, NJ and founded Predestined Media LLC in 2020 to create and distribute diverse content. The Adventures of Princess Anyah of Antibarba book series about a Caribbean Princess is the first project from my media company.

My name is Cherise Arthur and I live in Beaverton, Oregon. My journey started in grade school as an avid reader. I grew up in the country with rabbits, horses, ponies, a pet raccoon,chickens, etc. I started riding horses again about 10 years ago and one day when I was riding I had an idea for a book. I wrote the story and then joined a local writing community. I finally got the confidence to learn about publishing and what it would look like to actually have a book published. I went the traditional route and was getting impatient with not betting anywhere. That is when I started learning about self publishing

I am someone who is lucky to wear many hats. I am a wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and part of a very big extended family. I am a retired lawyer, I have had a baking business, and then, as a stay-at-home, mom, I definitely had a lot of jobs as the Co-CEO of our family!
