Hello, I am Lori Gard. I am a writer, teacher, school counsellor, counselling therapist, a mom to four great kids, a sister, daughter, wife and friend. I love long walks and hikes, reading books, listening to podcasts, playing piano, singing, eating out, attending plays, kayaking, spending time near water, traveling, playing games and being with my family. That’s me in a nutshell. Whew!

Hi, we are a mother and daughter duo. Claire is in 7th grade, loves softball and hanging out with her friends and family.

From a young age, I have been drawn to art and all things color. I’m always on the lookout for new creative projects to attempt. One day, you might find me refurbishing a vintage piece of furniture, while the next, I’m hand painting wallpaper on my living room wall. It’s these creative projects, including my book, that bring me so much joy.

I am Jean L. Tanelus, born in Miami, Florida in 1998. I am of Haitian and Bahamian descent. I graduated in 2021 with my Bachelor in Business Administration at Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU), the #1 Public HBCU (Historically Black Colleges/Universities). I am a private person, I don’t share much about myself with others, even those close to me. It was getting hard to contain my vision and voice inside of me for any longer and writing has given me the space to express myself through stories for others to enjoy.

I am an intensely curious person, with a lot of interests, from science to art to health and most of all, animals. I love dogs and cats, which makes me something of an oddity, I guess. I’m a little bit shy, but I also love to laugh with friends. But my real passion is silly, absurd, hilarious stories for kids…

Hello! My name is Ronesha. I’m a software engineer, author, and coding instructor from New Orleans, LA, currently living in Maryland. Since I was young, I always had two loves: coding and writing. Of course, at a young age, I didn’t know that when I was writing HTML and trying to build fansites for my favorite artists that I was doing something called “coding” and I had no idea that it could turn into a career. Interestingly enough, as life would have it, I was able to bring both of the things I loved as a child into my life as an adult.

I was born in rainy Manchester, UK, but I now reside in sunny Cantabria, Spain, beside a lake surrounded by crows! I share my home with many cats and a dog named Spike. When I’m not writing, I enjoy cycling and playing squash. I’m an award-winning children’s author and have been a primary school teacher for over fifteen years, teaching children in KS2 (ages 7 to 11) the British Curriculum.

I am an off-road enthusiast who has owned Jeeps my whole life. I’ve off-roaded in eleven different states. Do you know how to tell if a person drives a Jeep? Wait a few minutes, they’ll tell you. 🙂

Hi! My name is Tiara Deahn Thornton. I was born and raised in Alamogordo, New Mexico. I love animals. I have two cats named Ash and Ace.

I taught middle school math for 10 years before becoming a stay at home mom. I Have a Bachelor’s degree in math education and a Masters degree in Education. Educating children is my passion. I have worked with a range of children and love helping them discover their true potential.
