Professionally I am an author, multi-medium artist, and I run a business that builds out ideas. But underneath all of that, I am a dancing, goofy, movie-loving, foodie that loves the beach, festivals, amusement parks, great restaurants, and traveling.

I am a Cuban American woman from New Jersey. I love to cook and bake in my spare time with my family. I worked with Children and I love writing for Children. Writing is a passion of mine and I love Children’s books. I’m a mom to my daughter Mila Charlotte Outler and I am a wife to my husband Michael Andre Outler. I am also a proud dog mom to my dog Russell. I love reading books and my favorite is Children’s books and Biographies.

Books help children connect to the world and help them understand the world around them. Books also help children understand different perspectives while also learning about different people, cultures, and countries.

I am originally from Belize, Central America, currently living in Georgia. I hold a doctoral degree in Education from Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia. I am published poet and author of four children’s books all written in different languages. I love all genre of books but absolutely love books about vampires and fairies. I also enjoy Broadway plays.

I am Olaolu Ogunyemi. I am a first-generation Nigerian-American, U.S. Marine Corps Officer, mentor, and best-selling children’s book author. I am the fifth of six children from Ruston, Louisiana, and I am married with three children of my own.

My name is Carmelita Milfort-Vasilyeva. I have been working as a Full-time teacher for nine years. I have my Associate’s degree in Elementary Education, a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, and a Master’s degree in Developmental Disabilities.

I am a migration scholar and professional writer who loves to travel. I have lived on 5 continents! I’ve been traveling since I was 13 years old and really love being a global nomad. Now that I have two kids of my own, I want to make it easier for them to realize that travel is normal.

I’ve always loved reading and writing – I hardly leave the house without a book! I live on the North Shore of Massachusetts, which means there are a lot of beautiful places where I can read and write. I grew up in Connecticut but made the move to Massachusetts after studying English in college.

I spent most of my life working with my students, children, and now, with my grandkids. In 1999, I received the “Educator of Excellence” award by the New York English Council.
